Let The Church Say "Amen"

Jesus stated to Peter in (Matthew 16:18) that Peter was the rock. And upon that rock “He”… would build “His” church, and the gates of Hades will not conquer it, over power it, or prevail against it.  Right here is when Jesus used a play on words. Jesus said upon this rock…I will build my church. He didn’t say upon Peter or upon our inheritors. But what Jesus meant was the church would be built based on the divine prophecy and avocation of faith in Christ Jesus...Peter demonstrated to our Father that he had a strong confession of faith that was solid as a rock and he was blessed for telling Jesus he was the Son of  the living God. As I read (Acts 10:1-48). I see that Peter was the first to take the Gospel—to the Gentiles. So it would make sense that…Peter would become the rock of the foundation of Christ Jesus. Which lives within our heart? As I read I find that Peter’s eyes where open by God himself –and Jesus at this point recognizes that our Heavenly Father had open, Peter’s eyes to reveal that Jesus was the true Messiah.

(Acts 4: 11, 12:1; and 1 Corinthians 3:11) makes it profusely clear that Jesus is the head of my foundation and not man.  What I have learned in my study of the bible is that –Jesus will always be my “Chief Cornerstone” and it is nothing that the devil can do about it. The church is steady growing in my heart and the love of Jesus grows on the inside of  a true believer...like “fifty shades of blue violet wild flowers” that keeps growing and growing and growing! Making, my faith solid as a rock—now because? I believe in the “Son of the living God. I have the power to save and heal the sick, cast out demons –which they will rise no more.  Now that’s Grace!!! I realize one thing…it is not what’s on the outside it is what’s on the inside that matters to our “King”. Through my trials and tribulations and my darkness he is with me. Through all my hard times. Through my repentance and circumstance he is with me—and when it is all over. I will have the greatest testimony ever. So you see ...God made this role just for little old me. God has proven to me that this “little country girl”…can sing her song from her heart fifty different ways and each fifty—will still be on fire for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So, my God has spoken...I will let the church say!  “Amen!”
