Fasting and Praying 37/40

Day Thirty-Seven: “Lord Jesus, you not only taught about forgiveness, you also demonstrated by your own willingness to forgive.” Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I recognized your willingness to forgive me—when you forgave the parlayzed man lowered on a stretcher through the roof (Matthew 9:2-8). “The woman caught in adultery (John 8:3-11).” The women; who anointed your feet with oil (Luke 7:47-50). Peter, for denying he knew you (John 18:15-18, 25-27; 21:15-19). The thief, on the cross (Luke 23:39-43)—and the people who crucified you (Luke 23:34). Lord Jesus, I asked that you give me that same willingness to forgive others—that has wronged me. “I asked that you give me the strength to walk in love as you did.”

Almighty Father, your word say, “beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that love is born of God, and knows him—he that loveth not knoweth not God; For you God Is Love and I love you Lord.” I trust in you Lord with all my heart, in all my ways I acknowledge you—I ask that you direct my path. Lord God, your words is a lamp unto my feet; it is a light of my path.” Words of Christ dwell in me richly in all wisdom. I am following you—you are the Good Shepherd and I know you voice—the voice of a stranger; I will not follow. Jesus you have made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption hallelujah! Jesus. “Therefore, I confess Lord with my mouth... “I have the wisdom of God, and I am the righteousness of God in Jesus’ Christ name I Pray. Amen!”
